Former Resident Dies On Visit

Mrs. Addie¹ Keast, 50, of 132 Bennett Rd., Valley Farms, Mich., who was visiting relatives here, died suddenly at the home of her sister, Mrs. William Courier, 1525 N. 20th St., at 8:30 a.m. today.

She had suffered an asthmatic condition for sometime.

She was born March 23, 1908 in Stonington and was reared there, lived in Crystal Falls and lived at Valley Farms, a suburb of Lansing for 30 years.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; one daughter, Mrs. Philip Fate of Lansing; four grandchildren; six sisters, Miss Minnie Nelson of Escanaba; Mrs. Clara Groleau of Milwaukee; Mrs. William Courier, Mrs. Ernest Villeneuve, Mrs. John Boileau and Mrs. Earl Tryan, all of Escanaba; four brothers, Charles Provo of Villa Park, Ill., Ernest of Escanaba, Frank of Manistique and George of Grand Ledge, Michigan.

Friends may call at the Allo Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Wednesday.  The body will be taken to the Estes Leadley funeral home in Lansing Thursday where funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon, with the Reverend J. Bretz officiating, and burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Valley Farms.
