Evelyn M. French, 91, passed away Friday, July 14, 2006 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Born January 21, 1915 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Roy T. and Lucille M. Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto E. French. She is survived by three children: Margaret E. and Bill Richardson, Jeanine Lott, and John E. and Doris French, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She had nine grandchildren, Dennis Goodacre of Wagoner, Oklahoma, David Goodacre of Nuyaka, Oklahoma, Donald Bortzfield of Arlington, Kansas, Mike Bortzfield of Alvarado, Texas, Vikki Bortzfield of Brighton, Illinois, Renée Keith and John French of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jack French of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Debra Acker of Jenks, Oklahoma; and she had nineteen great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Tulsa Organ Society¹ for more than 25 years and played the piano in a small band called “The Golden Oldies.” She also played for many of the senior residences in Tulsa. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at Moore’s Southlawn. Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, July 20, 2006 at Memorial Park Cemetery.
